There has always been a stigma that reading comics meant you were not good at studying or had no interest in it. But what if I were to tell you that that classroom is the right place for comic books?
TEDx is a platform similar to TED in presentation and can be organized by anyone who obtains a free license from TED. They prepare amazing events and guest speaks to come out and share their experiences and advice to different communities.
In 2016 at the TEDxMahattan Beach Conference, former teacher and graphic novelist Gene Luen Yang, shared his insights on comic books and how they can help educators in the classroom!
